The team

The team The dermatologists of MohsA, Ms. Dr. G.A.M. Krekels and Ms. Dr. S. van der Geer – Rutten , are both experienced Mohs surgeons and were trained by Professor Dr. H.A.M. Neumann. They have both written and defended a thesis about skin cancer, thereby each obtaining a doctor’s title. They closely follow the latest developments in skin cancer research and have great expertise in the treatment of skin cancer.

Dr. Krekels was the president, and before that the secretary, of the European Society of Mohs Micrographic Surgery from 2006 till 2012. At the moment, Dr. van der Geer is secretary of this society. Dr. Krekels is a qualified international mentor, trainer, of the American Society of Mohs Surgery. Fellow dermatologists are being trained by them in Mohs Surgery. Both dermatologists think it is important to continue with academic and research activities to maintain their high levels of knowledge and experience.
