Health Insurance MohsA Clinis delivers insured and uninsured dermatological care. We carry out all treatments included in the Dutch basic insurance package. MohsA Clinics has a contract with all Dutch health insurance companies. Most treatments are covered by the Dutch basic insurance package. A condition for reimbursement is that your general practioner or a medical specialist has given a referral, which is the same as for all Dutch hospitals or other medical specialists.

You will receive the same insurance as in Dutch hospitals or other clinics. Of course, just like in those hospitals and clinics, patients are liable to pay a policy excess, which for 2016 has been established legally at € 385,=. Depending on your type of health insurance, we can invoice your health insurance company directly or you will have to pay us first and subsequently send a claim to your health insurance company.

Of course, if you have taken out health insurance with a policy access that is higher than the legally established amount, you will have to pay the policy access agreed upon. Your health insurance can inform you about this amount. When your health insurance company does not yet have a contract with MohsA another pricelist applies, the so-called passanten tarieven. In that case, we will inform your health insurance company of the performed treatment and the fee for this treatment.

When you have a foreign health insurance or if your treatment is not covered by the Dutch basic insurance package, you will have to pay yourself and if applicable, subsequently send a claim to your health insurance company.
